Over the past four years, New Star Kafala is proud to be supporting the education of orphan children in Morocco through a successful Education Sponsorship Program. This Education Sponsorship Program seeks to improve outcomes for the abandoned children residing in Moroccan orphanages by enabling them to benefit from full access to quality educational programs at local private institutions and/or from private tutoring.
Through this program we 1) facilitate your sponsorship of an orphan child’s education at a private institution and/or 2) facilitate your sponsorship of an orphan child’s private tutoring for a specific subject area.
The sponsorship is a one-academic-year commitment with an opportunity to renew each year throughout the child’s educational life. The sponsorship can be paid annually or broken down into monthly payments.
The program will provide sponsors with quarterly reports on the progress of the child’s education. An opportunity for direct communication with the sponsored child will also be available to further the relationship of encouragement, support and mentorship between the sponsor and child.
PRIVATE INSTITUTION SPONSORSHIP:
The sponsorship of a child at a private institution in Morocco is $700. This includes $650 towards tuition and educational expenses, and $50 to cover operational costs such as funds transfer fees, registration fees, and other operational costs.
*The sponsor can provide the funds as a one time annual payment, or broken down into re-occurring monthly payments of $58.33 for 12 months.
